Proposed 12 Stories and 3 stories Basement parking Dental Hospital

This is a notional design for the tender entries for a Dental Specialist Hospital  -Indonesia.
Located on a 3000sqm site lot area opposite a golf course, the regulation stated that the proposed building can be as high as 55m.
With this arrangement we workout the program for the building as per the owner requirements.
Carpark & worker facilities will be occupied 3 level basement, ground level dedicated for Commercial area and emergency installation,   while level 2&3 would be for 50 nos of General Practitioner. At level 4& 5 for the Dental specialist include pediatric, orthodontist, etc,Level 6& 7 will be designed for Auditorium and Function Hall. Level 8 integrated dental service ,  9 for VVIP rooms and daycare surgery, Level 10 will be occupied by Dental Lab, level 11 for management office include all meeting facilities and ME plant area will bee occupied  level 12.

The design strategy of the building is to comply with the green building design guideline in tropical area. By pulling in/ out the programme/ layer, we created more additional space and gain some terrace deck on certain level to allow more space for amenities and enhance the experience of premium service of the facilities as well as adding more greenery into the building.
This so called movement also created shading to the level below and help to cut down the heat amount into the facade. This is meant that the heat load inside the building will also cut down and in result, the size of the chiller can be reduced too. In term of the glazing will help to reduce the cost of having better SC e-glass.

Entrance was designed in accordance to enhance the urban design surround the building, no physical property fencing were introduced, and change with urban landscape. traffic movement were clearly divided from vehicular movement and pedestrian movement to avoid crash and accident for both movement. Pedestrian entrance will also be integrated with public transport transit such as bus stops and designed in compliance with barrier free accessibility
Provisional shops also provided at the entrance level for the visitor and user convenient and to help operator to gain some margin to ease them cover the monthly maintenance overhead cost.

Triple volume main lobby creating a grand space . This lobby was also connected to the 3 stories carpark at the left side and lead to the lift area further back.

The Steel House

Stand at an average Indonesian property sized 9m x 10m.
This design came to overcome the challenge of high material cost and higher worker cost. By using recycled steel beam and hollow section, lets forget about the feel from the neighboring house from the feeling of a warehouse next to them, because, our original intention is, we tried to cut the worker cost at 50% by shortening the construction timeline. That will be cut significant amount from the original construction cost.
The steel frame will be fabricated at the workshop while on the site will be prepared the foundation works  as well as the underground infrastructure needed and base floor. Upon the completion of base work, steel frame will be transported to the site and start the assembly work and finishing work such as installation of the dry wall, wall cladding, operable louvre glass window and pre-arranged M&E works.

Plan View of Upper & Lower Floor *
Space wise, we demarcate the site clearly to create secondary facade for the house, this will help resident to have better ventilation and enjoy their own yard, rather than the terrace house effect that only have front elevation.
Space planning also clearly stated the semi private and private area. Reflecting pool introduced to help bring in cold air into the building.

Isometric  view of detached element (Left Image) and some of interior & exterior Shoot*
Artist Impression of the house showing the metal clad as exterior finish and use of louvre glass windows and floating pitch roof to allow cross ventilation in to the house. *
*) Drawing given is for us to study together, idea is to share, but not for you to hijack the others works.

suharto house -solo

this new finish  project locate in solo with overall site area is 150 m2 and the house itself only 80m2. the design combined simplicity and minimalism with traditional design.
As a characteristic of our design that we will try as much as possible to involved the natural light and cross ventilation into our design with opening from the back yard even in the tight site.

the architecture was so simple with composition of pure geometrical form. this language continued from outside to inside. the combination of composition between minimalism and traditional seen at the living room. instalation of "gebyok" melting space that dominated with geometrical shape.

one colour scheme applying in this design, white paint, carara marble and white oak wood create one language to have a strong character. this also to create each room felt bigger by applying one colour
